Romeo and Christmas

I’ve had Romeo since he was a puppy, and every year at Christmas I’ve always bought him the same gift. Well this year I forgot. And let me tell you it did not go over well. As we opened our gifts his little eyes kept watch us. When all of the gifts were opened and he realized there was nothing for him, he turned his back on us and left the room and hid under the bed. No matter what bribery I tried he would not come out from under the bed. So I went out today and bought his gift. He sniff it and walked away. As if to say it is not the same, Christmas is over. The moral of the story even our dogs enjoy the holidays lefts not forget them.
